Pre-Student Teaching Action Plan

The main concerns identified by my predecessors included:

  • Get to know your students
  • Get to know your CT
  • finish your unit plans and have a good idea of what you will be teaching
  • Have back-up plans to all lessons

My main concerns about student teaching at this point are:

  • Hitting all of the learning outcomes that I have for my students during the allotted time
  • Ensuring that all of the students understand the links between the lessons being taught, and the world around them.


My Main Concerns about Student Teaching
 Some strategies that I am going to try in order to prepare for Student Teaching:
time management
 creating a step-by-step outline of what I will say
planning efficiently
 have back-up activities and a time table of topics
hitting all learning goals
 having an organized sequence of lessons in an adgenda or lesson planning grid



I am still concerned about... (and I'm not really sure what to do about this.)
